The Professional and Business services category sponsored by the Federation of Small Businesses received more applications than any other. Established in 1996 by Noel Davidson providing manned security to motor traders and businesses on Rosehill & Kingstown in Carlisle. Son in Law Greg Kelly joined the Firm as Managing Director in 2003 following 15 years Police Service as a Detective within CID, Drug Squad, Crime Prevention and Special Branch.

Greg’s brother Simon Kelly joined the Firm in 2014 as Fire Safety Manager following 25 years’ Service with Cumbria Fire & Rescue with experience in Leadership & Management, Risk Management, Health & Safety, Fire Safety, Fire Risk Assessment, Incident Command, Contingency Planning, retiring as Senior Operational Manager.

Ultimate provides a wide range of integrated Security Products & Services including Intruder & Fire Alarms, CCTV, Access Control, Service & Maintenance, Remote Monitoring, Out of Hours Emergency Response, Manned Guards, Mobile Patrols, Key Holding & Alarm Response, Event Security, Fire Risk Assessments and Fire Safety Warden Training. All services provided to the business and domestic market.



PHX Training is an award-winning North West training provider helping individuals to build skills to create a successful future. We deliver several government funded training initiatives including the Work Programme, learndirect Adult Skills, NEET, Apprenticeships and Traineeships.
