Daniel Cooper artwork to be showcased at Awards thanks to FMB
Acclaimed artist Daniel Cooper responds with highly emotional expressions to the sublime weather in the Lake District and wider Cumbrian landscape. Some of his most iconic artworks will add yet another creative element to the Cumbria Family Business Awards thanks to sponsorship from Kendal based financial advisors FMB. Director Ruth Power has long been a supporter of both business and arts in Cumbria.
It’s great to see the creative and business communities being brought together at the Cumbria Family Business Awards in ways I haven’t seen before. – Ruth Power
Using charcoal and mixed media in his original works, Cooper observes reality imaginatively, and aims to communicate the ever changing moods of the land and skies through his work. Daniel has held many acclaimed solo-exhibitions across Cumbria, and as Sophia has worked with Daniel on a variety of exhibitions and shows she was keen to involve him in the Awards. He is represented in prestigious galleries in the UK and Miami, and Daniel’s work is considered some of the most collectable contemporary work being made in Cumbria today with a number of celebrity buyers among his many collectors. His next exhibition Land Marks opens on 1st April at The Beach Hut Gallery. We won’t disclose any more for now as we don’t want to give away all our secrets but Daniel will be attending on the night and is cetainly worth seeking out, in the meantime you can find out more information about Daniel on his website. Our deepest thanks go to FMB for supporting this element of our creative vision for the Awards. #CFBA2017 #WeAreCumbria
